   Does anyone know of #FLOSS business plans which preserve developer autonomy and maximize user value?

   Pay-walling and Freemium are financially exclusive; hosting adverts is aesthetic suicide. Donations can be good, but often don't provide enough security for developers of new projects. Paying for features can complicate developer priorities, drawing focus away from the backend.

   I'm interested to hear all ideas, both theoretical and practiced.

     here, we are trying to build our own humble flat - company , #coop . Step,by step... on  a long journey .
     
     On classical capitalist enterprise model , ... i think #Nextcloud , and it's learning path  provides inspiration
     
     #utopia would be a #Nextcloud kind of #Coop company ?

     @jordila @douginamug I have some different methods. But they are too long to be explained here... What does you interest the most?

     Actually social.coop use it too...

     Guess its kind of pay-what-you-want but with social engineering for a minimum contribution. Loomio add an intermediate level of a reduced rate you can ask for. But also offer free access

     I guess, probably, when using this method (free on request), some people will not be comfortable to ask and will just go elsewhere / it will be a barrier for them.
