We are hosting social.librenet.co.za on a server in Germany only because we can get WAY better resources for our money. LibreNet has more services than just the Masto instance ;). I would LOVE to host in Africa - show me a provider that can compete with regards hardware, bandwidth and speed for the same price - and we'll move tomorrow!
