   @vriska nah, i don't think the "look i'm actually giving the other side a chance to explain their point of view i'm a good person" crowd actually makes up the majority
   
   though if it's "look i btfo'd the other side i'm a badass" i can see it, yeah everyone does that

     asking questions with the intent to find a point to condemn their side instead of trying to understand why they might think that way, then going back and giving yourself a pat on the back for being so accomodating is pretty masturbatory tbh

     one of the reasons why I like GS so much is we generally have pretty open and tolerant discussions about shit
     
     shit, Augustus and I are friends even we both think the other has ridiculous political views and you just dont see that on the modern internet
