now that i think about it...

as good as decentralized and distributed social media are, they all seem to go for cloning twitter and instagram and not for facebook.

and facebook seems to be actually very useful for public organizing. you can create groups which other users can join, talk to users within that group, start events...

i hope someone makes it possible for the fediverse to do all that stuff, too...
