    I'm still looking for a mail provider (after dropping Protonmail as a candidate). I'm now in doubt between @disroot and @wehost . Both great services, so really have problems to choose.

    For my main mail I'm looking for:

    - 5GB (or more) encrypted storage
    - custom domain
    - a webmail app with filter options (like Rainloop - although Mailpile would even be better)

    I can pay $3 per month.

    Which one of those two can offer me this?

      I guess we both do that.
      Just a question what do you mean by encrypted storage?

      @disroot Yes, that what I was afraid of. Keuzestress in Dutch. With encrypted mail storage I mean that my mail folders are encrypted on your server, so no one can access it.

      @wehost

      afaik none of us does that.
      We run disk encryption but thats on filesystem level. We are planning on implementing service side encryption on mailboxes hopefully still this year (though in order to keep compatible with IMAP/POP it cant be e2e but server side).

      @disroot Alright, thanks. Do you maybe know how Transip encrypts mail folders (with their Email only plan). I'm now using an account there, that's why I ask.

      @jeroenpraat @wehost I dont think they do any encryption. Looks like its just default IMAP/POP3

      @disroot Yes, probably. Although they claim that their Stack cloud service uses 256-bit AES encryption, but I think it's save to assume that that's just file system encryption?

      I think @wehost@social.weho.s is not really used and I should poke @realitygaps
