@bb010g Yeah, why so? A VCS system can still log my commits and even sign them with PGP. People can still know if I made something and credit me for so.

@bb010g If someone is rude and deletes all mentions (*ahem* Hiveway *ahem*), I still have the right to complain to them, even if not the legal one to revert so, and they'll still looks like retards for doing so.

@bb010g And in closed source code that's not mentioning me... well... I guess I won't get famous if I get attribution for code used in it, either. And closed source forks of my software wouldn't go unnoticed and would have to really be better than my own thing to stand on their own.
