I love how OnePlus pushes the price of their new phones every year because then, when my budget has grown just enough to buy a OnePlus, they release a new one which I have no way to afford.

But OnePlus are now just riding off their "enthusiast cred" to sell flahships that are pretty fucking regular.
Which is sad because there's no alternative if you want top-end specs. There's stuff like Xiaomi phone with great value, but the good value ones usually aren't particularly top-endXerz 💗 [UNMOVED] repeated this. -

I've also never thought Chinese phones were a good deal, you never know what to expect, both from the hardware and from the software. I'm really just looking now from either a Nokia, a bq (see bq.com), or if I can somehow spend more, an Essential or just really doubt so but perhaps a Sony or a Google Pixel. I don't see anything out there that's balanced.
