@bob I think by now the Bitcoin network has surpassed the energy consumption of Denmark and Switzerland, by conservative estimates. It's real, look it up. So there is a huge scaling problem, and it continues to grow exponentially.

Yes, I'm also in favor of a cryptocurrency solution, but I can't imagine one independent from the weary giants of steel and flesh right now. Proof of work will always lead to massive distortions. Why hasn't SpaceX built a mining satellite yet... don't tell them 😝
