@Jbastardov Yeah, Sony has neither features that attract the mainstream (like a borderless design or really any gimmick at all until recently), neither something special for the techies (there briefly was a beta program for the Xperia X, but that's about it; the cameras have always been good and even have a physical shutter button but a good auto mode only arrived very recently), neither a competitive price (at least off the shelves). It must definitely be a hard market to enter.

@Jbastardov I'm probably going to give them another chance, even knowing that they pretty much insulted me with the XA1 by making an almost 300€ phone hardly working at all, if I can get the XZ2 Compact at an affordable price. Not many brands give a "small" phone anymore... with a 4K HDR camera. It doesn't have OIS but it should do pretty fine for pretty much everything and should help me make my first recordings.
Only if it gets cheap enough at Amazon. Which it isn't for me right now. lol.
