      @Laurelai I'm familiar with their tactics. I know bloggers whose main purpose with their blogs is to get famous enough to be noticed by those brands and then get paid for that kind of posts. But we can spot them miles away, even if they don't tell us that the post is sponsored. So the marketeers strategy is pretty much ineffective.

      I say this as both a reader and a blogger myself.

      I prefer to just have my tip jar on, and if people enjoy my posts and they can spare some change everyone wins.
