Needed to implement an digital logic wherein I required 4 gates and 3 ICs for 3 inputs go generate a signal. Then suddenly told myself "screw it, I'm going to implement this using a 8 to 1 MUX", using the three input signal as selector signals. This reduced the ICs required from 3 to 1.
