     If you accept suggestions, I miss a deeper note about !xmpp clients as alternatives to Whatsapp, Telegram,.. (*)
     IMHO at the first place.
     
     And, sorry but I would not call 'ethical' to Signal because they don't want to federate and you need Google services to use it.
