Oh man, how is it possible that so many people are giving this an 8!? Everything (well almost) in the low-rating reviews on IMDb is true:

The only reason I didn't gave it a 3 was:
- the alien was a little bit original (and that's an achievement nowadays)
- the use of sign language was laudable
