Can @Liberapay or someone else tell me how #Liberapay now works?
On one page I read: "Donations through Liberapay are now paid *in advance* instead of being transferred weekly. The numbers above match what you would have received this week under the old system." -- what I find confusing, I want an explanation of the new system.
But on a lot of other pages I read:
"Liberapay is a way to donate money *recurrently* to people whose work you appreciate." -- So nothing has changed?

@Liberapay I also like to add that when signing up an account on Stripe, they ask for a business type. I'm not a business, so how to continue?

@Liberapay And it needs a phone number that's displayed to people using a credit card.
