@rysiek @pertho @sir briar and tox are serverless, but a bit cumbersome. Wire is there but even that I prefer it due I can use it on the desktop still has issues, no f-droid repo due to some libraries. Also doesn't require a phone number. Matrix is a federated solution, but seems to me that the client ui for mobile of the client riot is not yet ready for mainstream.
