   You want a diverse community? You want to be inclusive? Then you have to stand up for people that are the targets of hate and harassment. And you have to be decisive.

   People aren't going to trust you just because you say you want it. You have to show people you are willing to mix it up for their safety. You have to show you are willing pull the trigger and simply not allow the people in your community to be subject to endless harassment.

   You have to _prove you're worth their trust_

     Don't make another meeting about it. Don't form another committee to talk about it.

     People aren't stupid and they know what they're doing. If people cannot interact with someone that isn't like them without dignity and respect for their basic humanity, deal with that shit.

     Stop giving space to people who knowingly are taking advantage of your restraint to harm people they don't like.

     Stop trying to find common ground with people that could give a fuck less about that.

     The time for lip service is over. Either you are going to set the tone in your community that hateful behavior will to be tolerated or you won't.

     It's not that hard to have honest and critical discussions without being a bigoted piece of shit. It's not that hard to disagree with someone without having to disrespect what they are.

     It's not that hard to be a decent human being.

     People on my instance _know_ where I stand on this. Do the people of your instance know where you stand?
