    @laurelai @wxcafe A lot of people dump on it as pomo is a killer of marxism-leninism. A lot of pomo-adjacent ideas are anti-authoritarian and some of it is specifically anti-authoritarian marxist. Almost all of it pointed to the kind of dogmatism and belief in a singular, inarguable solution to anything as a bad idea.

    The ones that really hate pomo are marxist-leninists, but marxism devoid of any additional context is very modernist (universalism, objective fact oriented, etc)

      @laurelai @wxcafe Situationalism isn't discussed as much as postmodernism (though I think it should be) as it was a forerunner of actual "postmodern neo-marxism". It was affiliated with a few modernist art movements though so it tends not to be seen as such. It was an anti-authoritarian marxist movement/international collective that I think doesn't get enough attention.
