i feel weird saying it, but yeah, above and beyond the laws of any state, a service is responsible for the data it hosts.

discord is responsible for the nazis that use their platform, for the slurs in the logs they store, for the things those groups organize.

facebook is responsible for the hate that becomes violence on the parts of their platform they fail to or refuse to moderate.

even a crypto service should be wary they aren't protecting evil.
