@vinilox I'm the admin of a home server node in Uruguay. I would be glad to welcome a few users. My server has little bandwidth, but it may be painless to navigate in countries nearby. If you have any uruguayan members (obviously this is not exclusive) i could arrange a registration period for those usersand maybe for them to test speed, etc. In the future i mostly certain will have several times the current bandwidth so speed mostly sure will increase nicely. Its a Debian virtual server with 6-cores and 8GB of RAM. It also runs a Diaspora pod and Jabber/IRC server. There are ocassionaly downtimes but most of the users in here, can live with that.
