   @feld @skynebula @GeoffreyDorne I do agree with the need to integrate the XEPs, this is why I pointed out to the XEP mentioned by JMP. Although that edition doesn't cover voice/video calls yet (probably because these are entirely clients dependent, not server-based). My worry is that most #XMPP clients, at least mobile, aren't under auto-upgradable strong #copyleft license (bad example: #Conversations), those that are do need contributions ( #Beam)

     @feld @skynebula @GeoffreyDorne the loss of #copyleft means we'll face situations such as what happens thanks to #Minetest's decision to not use strong copyleft, today this game has bunch of non-free forks. Greater than that, in case of non-copylefted XMPP clients, adaptations of the same application can be made not to follow the standard.
