Nearly every trans person I know has been put on blast by someone else, often with allegations of abuse or grooming. I very rarely hear these accusations from a first-hand source; they're mostly passed on as "open secrets" and "x person told me" type things.

I take allegations of abuse very seriously. But I also know first-hand how easily allegations can be weaponized. I've had it done to me.
