Like one time I came across a thread of leftists just trashing on Chelsea Manning, an anarchist who spent years in prison and solitary confinement because she was brave enough to expose US war crimes, all because she made a very silly mistake of palling around with some right-wing assholes, mere months after being released from prison. She immediately apologized and said that she would do better. Didnt matter to these people. She was "cancelled."
