I occasionally play games with a friend who uses windows. He needed to reboot, and of course was forced to wait for an update. (Choice? What's that?) I could tell it was going to take some time and I was bored with Ubuntu and disliked Gnome. So I wiped, installed Arch, restored my backups, installed steam and the game we wanted to play, and still beat him. In fact, we never did play that night as his update continued past our bed times.
