    @shevek I think it's all falling into common sense application. If you really use and read the feeds its all ok.

    For example, there is a user subscribed to 8000 feeds. That produces few hundred thousand news items per week. Its impossible for that user or anyone to read them So why have them. The other thing is that feeds that are read are removed form the server, but if you phisically cannot read through 200 000 feeds a week, they will stay and pile up.

      @shevek If you dont use News app, there is nothing to fetch therefore you dont have to worry about it. You can also disable it from menu in your personally settings in nextcloud.

      But like said before. If you use News app, just think about it and dont subscribe to everything you can as you wont be able to read through it anyway. Also cleanup every now and then and everyone will be happy. Basically Don't litter! And this applies to everything.
