@KopfKrieg @nipos @balouqlc There is a lot of marketing around the matrix, but in the current state the matrix is unsuitable for a large federation.
Failover is not embedded in the matrix network, well implemented in XMPP.

The matrix is not much different from ordinary centralized instant messengers, such as Signal and Telegram.
