   SHARING IS CARING!

   For at least 20 years we have fought a copyright regime which has been used as a tool of oppression: EUCD, "three strikes", ACTA, #Article13, etc. Like a Terminator, it always comes back after we've defeated it, to control the means of distribution of cultural works, serving the interests of the entertainment industry.

     Weaponised against the People, copyright serves as pretext to control and extract all possible financial benefit from our communications, our cultural practices, our expression and our lives online and offline. Such a "copywrong" and its enforcement rely heavily on mass-surveillance.

     Some may wish to reform it, towards attempts to unconditionally legalise remixing, educational use and not-for-profit sharing between individuals. Others may actively refuse copyright altogether, demonstrating the collective culture of sharing, through decentralised/distributed services and protocols, as a basic and essential precondition to being, acting and fighting together all forms of oppression.
