10-15 years ago, I used to play with bluetooth a lot. In windows XP, I would create a serial connection between two computers using bluetooth (SPP profile) and then after that create a direct networking connection (forgot exact details) through those open ports, which enabled me to share files or play LAN games through it. It was fascinating.
In windows 7, the networking panel didn't allow for such connections to be created.
