@gargron Eugen, does Mastodon support reddit-like bots? Like, if you type !somecommand, a bot installed on the instance detects it and does its thing?

I was talking with @lynnesbian about OCRbot's behavior, and realized ! commands would be a great addition to Mastodon.
The idea is: the admin registers a bot with a command, then on every reply, 🐘 scans for the commands and if matched, the bot's called with the post's id so it can reply - 1/2
