GoT meltdowns like a nuclear reactor with its control rods removed. From what I hear, there were too many diversions away from books and last two seasons didn't even have the stable base of books to back up! I now have more appreciation for J.K. Rowling who did not allow the movie producers to butcher her story and stuck as close as possible to the books.

I was expecting Tyrion to come up with a master plan to unseat Cersei to compensate for this mistakes. Instead, he continues floundering from one serious mistake to another.

Jon probably has one more chance to redeem himself as being so naive and trusting of Dany.

And the effectiveness of scorpions against dragons have been schizophrenic. Last episode, they were portrayed as being lethal to dragons and ships and this episode, they are sitting ducks to dragon fire!
(Scorpions were one of my favourite siege weapons in age of kings :P)

Atleast Arya's and Sansa's plot lines have been spared the butchery of the writers so far. I hope the Starks get a good ending given what they have gone through.

"Madness" - this is what Tywin Lannister would say if you ask him to review this episode.
