   Dr. Payal, a medical student committed suicide after being harrassed and ragged by her seniors (in pic) for her caste identity. The Topiwala National Medical college officials did not act to earlier complaints by her parents.

     The police booked the accused under the Atrocities Act, the the Anti-Ragging Act and the IT Act, as well as Section 306 (abetment to suicide) of the IPC. However, the accused are absconding.
     The medical association has also suspended them.

     Earlier, the three doctors were found to enter her room via a CCTV footage for three minutes during her time of suicide. Now we know that they most probably entered to destroy the suicide note and delete the photograph of it.
