    Are network timelines the same between instances (assuming same protocol and same or lack of "block" settings)?
    if not, how does the instance choose which statuses to show.

    Think I am seeing a lot of the same people and bots.

      @licho Well, the instance does not "choose", the users do. What you see on public timelines is the combination of the interactions of every user of that instance. !gnusocial
