I understand the theory, and I would agree with you if better ideas won. But they don't, not on the internet.

Nazi concepts used to be pretty much invisible in widely seen media: no tv, no radio, no newspapers etc. During this time, they got no votes at all in elections.

Then the internet came along, and with it the ability to spread fake racist material of the most vile kind.

This isn't a debate of ideas, it is a firehose of propaganda.
