Ugh, I'm really not liking what they've done with the Earth series. The plot-holes are piling up way too much.
So, like, it was established back during the turn of the 20th Century that using fossil fuels could mess with the climate, and that was confirmed more and more. THEN they bring out what was thought to be some dumb Phlebotnum mechanic of a literal rock that just oozes energy at insanely high densities.
Like, really? /That/ BS is what you're gonna use to get out of the wreck-the-environment thing? Alright, sure.
Of course they use the rock to make bombs because naturally.
BUT THEN THEY NEVER EVEN USE THE ROCK FOR ENERGY GENERATION WTF?! I mean, a /little/ bit, but what was the /point/ of introducing the rock if the characters'll just ignore it and keep burning coal?
I think I'm gonna stop watching. It's too ridiculous at this point.
