last weekend I visited my parents. In the afternoon we watched the local news channel, where they presented a chart with rising land title (?) prices (what you pay for a hecter.) They went from 600€ in 1992 to around 8-10k€ in the area where my parents are living. The work of my father (a farmer since 30 years) is highly affected by this, but i heard this rising prices for the first time. Most is due to speculation on land ownership and in the house construction market.
