   Got these from a yard sale. I'd like to sand the broken one to smooth the edges, any tips on handling glass? Never did this before.

     Went with sandpaper 300 after breaking off some edges with pincers. Worked fine, but I scratched the glass at some spots where I didn't want.
     The decision was quite easy because it was everything I had at hand.
