@InvaderXan they wait for me to arrive where I park my car some days, it's very sweet.
I've heard of crows dropping pebbles on animals as a playful thing, so I presume ravens would be the same. They're tricksters, anyway.
They only do it to me, never to my husband. But then I'm the one with the bucket of food for the ducks!
