AurochsBEHOLD! I have a new scientific hero. ANNECHAO is a matematician, statistician and theoretical ecologist. She has found a mathematical pathway to compare biodiversity measures across sampling schemes and indices. She gave a plennary talk at ICCB in front of all the conservation biologists (rather than theoretical ecologists who know her) who will benefit humongously from her work. Against all odds, her mathematical filled talk was clear an AWESOME. She is a fan of Alan Turing and she is great.
