@EdwardTorvalds @progo I believe #Manjaro #KDE ships Discover in its default install:

In case you prefer #GNOME, Manjaro should include Software with equivalent functionality:
https://manjaro.org/download/gnome/

I know you don't need those if you can build things from AUR, just saying that nowadays, even non-technical users should have a fine experience installing 3rd party software on most Linux distros unless they intentionally chose a do-it-yourself distro like Arch.
