     Federation isn't finished yet, but I think Prismo already lets you follow their users from Mastodon?

     If you search for @prismo.xyz you should see some users from that Prismo instance.

     Prismo considered doing subreddits based on hashtags, but they decided it would be better for each instance being its own subreddit.
