   The noted diarist (and administrator of the Royal Navy) Samuel Pepys is livetooting from London 1666 at:

   Unfortunately for Samuel, the Great Fire of London starts very soon on the 2nd September. This should be a fascinating event to follow in real time.

   Anyone interested in this period of European history might want to give him a follow.

     For those who don't know it, the Great Fire of London destroyed pretty much all of central London.

     Pepys' home was right on the edge of the disaster area.

     He livetoots continually from his diaries, which continue until 1669. He's currently on 1666, so in our time it will continue until 2022.

     These are private diaries, but he seems to have wanted them preserved for future eyes as he made sure they were catalogued in his collection.

     Because they're private, he talks about many things surprisingly openly, even affairs he has had.
