So Loki once tried to trick a stranger into building a wall around Asgard and making Mexico pay for it, but the stranger was secretly a giant and this stranger was about to complete the job on time and under budget (whaaaa?) so Loki was about to lose the bet and give away the sun, moon, and Freya to the stranger. At the last minute Loki took the form of a mare and seduced the giant's stallion to distract it from pulling granite blocks.

So Loki became a furry to win a bet and then gave birth to an 8-legged horse he gifted to Odin. And doesn't want anyone to talk about it.
