     It would be great to give people more choice, but I can only list alternatives that exist :blobsad:

     Masto host and mastodon.host are two totally different things.

     Masto.host and mastodon.host are two totally different sites, they just have similar names.

     Can people be clear which site they mean here?

     On the other hand, someone adds at the end "Didn't these guys drop the hosting for your instance or something?" so it sounds like they overstepped the mark?
