There's a lot of LFLs here but they're in the rich and white hipster neighborhoods. I'm living in an area with a lot of impoverished AA and Latinx families and there are none around except some unbranded LFL clones sitting in front of the grade school nearby -- half the contents in English, half in Spanish.
I've wanted one in my neighborhood for a while but didn't want to pay for one or have the LFL branding because it seemed like a waste of money.
Closest libraries to my neighborhood are far out of the reach of the kids, so I think to would help to have something but it's reassuring I was right when my gut told me that giving these people money for LFL was a waste for several reasons
