@claudiom beautiful on the outside, ugly on the inside
> If you want to know one reason why a Taycan costs more than a Model S, just look at the interior.
Strongly disagree. The Taycan's interior is impractical.
-
@claudiom the inside just has far too many screens and buttons and knobs. I know they want to appeal to the traditional car enthusiast, but if you get a chance to spend time with a Tesla it flips your world upside down.
My Model 3: bliss
My neighbor's Audi S3 (with some nice perf mods): hate the interior SO much.
It's like optical pollution. I feel like I need to turn on an ad blocker or something because it's just so damn busy and distracting.

@claudiom also could you imagine accidentally spilling a drink on the center console screen? lol fuck, this is not where we should go with the future of cars.
Just this Sunday I was driving down to Chicago and I opened a can of kombucha and it exploded all over me, on the steering wheel, some on the dash, on my seat. Quickly pulled over, I have towels and cleaner in the trunk. Took me about 2 mins to clean everything up.

@claudiom well, the Model S gets to be both, and does it well.
I expect the Model S Plaid Edition next year is going to make this look like a waste of money. They're already claiming their tests of the new dual motor configuration is faster than the Taycan

@claudiom yeah, I'll always give a Porsche this look

@claudiom @SlicerDicer they're all buggy. Bluetooth had one job and we cocked it up
