today I dared to talk to the farmer who grows the wheat+rye for our bakery's bread baking. as expected, the situation is devastating.
we now have two years of drought in a row, and while in 2018 the ground was still saturated from the winter in some areas, this year, on many spots, it has dried out 1,5 metres deep.
it has begun a long time ago. it is now already happening. we can prevent it from getting a lot worse, hopefully.
