I needed to download like 60GB of HQ edited/finished conference videos and get them uploaded to youtube.
When your upload speed is like max 15mbit and you don't trust your internet provider for reliability, this is tricky. Very tricky.
I had to capture requests in my browser so I could grab the videos with curl on my server.
And then I had to figure out which python scripts/tools are required to upload videos.
And then navigate the mess of API keys and OAuth shit from Google
Days later, it's working, but due to API limits I can only upload like 4 videos a day this way.
The internet sucks, I hate it all.

@georgia best part is that even though i could saturate a gig easily from my colo youtube seems to cap uploads at around 100mbit
