Never forget your coordinate fields and unit circle. Probably one of the most important things to know as an engineer.

@freemo
So true!
And also, there are so many mathematical 'tools' one should know how to use in Engineering field.
@thj Oh am I? Thanks
@shibaprasad Agreed
@thj I'm not the first one to see the connection, I just had good teachers. But thank you.
@thj I think that has less to do with how early you present it and more to do with how it was presented. As a kid I was never shown a thing and simply told it was so (if I was I rejected it).
What I was taught is why the math is the way it is, how to derrive it, use it, how to understand it, at a young age. I'd say this is the only way to learn it in a way that is valuable. Just memorizing formulas isnt going to help anyone and will give overconfidence however.
@thj Questions and curiosity is the only way to learn. But yea sadly most teachers dont know how to break that barrier with their students, it is a shame. That is one reason I try to be very generous with teaching others when and if they are interested in learning.
@jahnke Thats the angle symbol :)
