If I did a write up explaining the difference between complex number representation of vectors vs Matrix/Linear algebra representations would anyone be interested in reading that?

I feel it would be useful to explain why and how multiplication is different between the two and why division on matrix vectors is forbidden but allowed in complex form and the repercussions of that.

Might also be useful to go into some explanation as to how to intuitively know when to use one or the other (something even i struggle with from time to time).

@brolf technically speaking there really isnt anything we call multiplication. Its either the dot product or cross product. Usually if someone says multiplication they mean one of those if its in matrix form.

The question really boils down to, why not just define matrix division and multiplication to be the same as complex form multiplication and division (which would give us three different ways to multiply matrix vectors).,..

Thats the question id try to answer.

@cybercow i considered that, but I am more curious if someone will read it. Even if you already know it may help clarify it better or the reader might have valuable feedback about something I dont cover.
