@cb Most people actually make music using some #GNU / #Linux, combination which in turn results in a graphical desktop environment or even powerful set of command line tools for making music. #Linux itself without an operating system like #GNU is almost unusable for this task, as it doesn't have music production software. A mate of mine uses #Trisquel distribution of #GNU / #Linux to make music. This distribution is one of few #FreeAsInFreedom / #Libre ones. See http://www.gnu.org/distros/
