      As i understand it, when you favourite a notice, it gets boosted to your followers list. Your account here, at gnusocial.net, is followed by a mstd.jp account. As the federation with that node is failing right now, the action of favouriting gets stuck.
      I've seen this behaviour before; some times the favorite arrive to the other node (even with UI errors here), some times it doesn't.

      I'm afraid that's something to expect; if the federation is broken with a node, any action regarding that node will fail...

        It was just announced that https://mstdn.jp (200,348 accounts) and https://mastodon.cloud (59162 accounts) are shutting down at the end of June! that is more then 6% of fediverse accounts disappearing overnight. I would like to do anything in my power to figure out how to prevent this from happening.
